Stranger Things Photo Op
Creation:
I created this Stranger Things photo op entirely from scratch for a Halloween party I hosted. The theme was 80's so this fit right in. It took quite a bit of my construction and scenic creation experience combined to create but it turned out great for a budget project of this scale. The walls are made of plywood with fiberboard cut into rectangles to create the tiles. I used cloth and latex to create a stringy substance to represent the goop from the rifts into the upside down from the TV show and used Spray foam insulation to create the vines. I painted these vines black only in the front and backlit them with LED strips to have a bit of red shine through the backside. I also touched up a latex Vecna mask and filled it with expandable foam to be mountable. I then backlit the cloth behind the Vecna head with a red light bulb to add depth. In addition to all this I had props next to this set for my guests to take pictures with and use in their photographs. All the props were authentic to the timeline the show takes place.

E.T. Adventure Damaged Passports Holder
Creation:
This piece is a functional piece of art used by my fellow Universal Team Members and I at the E.T. Adventure ride. Part of the ride is these plastic passports we hand to guests and retrieve back from them when they get on the ride. There are often times where these get damaged and we need to count them separately for inventory purposes so I created a themed piece to be used by us. Both the sign and the tree stump I 3D modeled myself and 3D printed them. The sign took direct inspiration from the signs in the rides interior queue line and the tree stump did as well. The sign was printed in two pieces, a backpiece to give the layered look to the yellow font and the top piece to provide the lettering and themed look. I primed the sign and stump with filler primer to get rid of layer lines from the print and used bondo to texture the bottom of the stump as the print had to have a flat surface to print on well. I also used bondo to add all the details and texture to the stump. I coated it with resin and acrylic sealer to give it extra durability as it will be used every single day.

Christmas Tree Farm Bar
Creation:
This Christmas Tree Farm Bar had a photo op next to it which was different at both locations. I setup all the trees as well as set all the props for the shelves in the set. I built the centerpiece for the photo-op that has the shelf, to do this I used several cutoffs from wreaths and garlands as well as other miscellaneous Christmas props and toys to create a picture perfect moment. For the props I zip-tied them together with mountable ties so I could properly and safely secure them to the wood. For the bucket I drilled a hole inside and mounted it to the shelf that way and filled the inside with props that were all secured to each other to hide the attachment methods for best show quality possible. When linking the trees together I wired them through the branches so that all the running cables could be hidden from guest view and blend into the foliage well. I did a lot of the construction of the actual buildings by using standardized attachment methods used when framing a wall together for the safest and most secure build. I also did all the lighting fixtures and wired them as I did the trees by hiding them from view to create a smooth and seamless appearance.

Christmas Garland
Creation:
I worked with decorating all the garland for this Bubly Bar project. I used the assigned kits following the desired color scheme to match the work order and design documents as much as possible. A lot of this garland was meant to be very close to guest reach and be prepared to be constantly interacted with so I had a lot of the ornaments double attached to each other and to the wire framing of the garland for extra security.

Mummified Hand
Creation:
This mummified hand was meant to look like it was preserved over a long period of time and reanimated. The base of the hand is made from armature wire and masking tape then covered with cotton soaked in an Elmer's glue mixture that was sculpted into the shapes of wrinkles and details in the fingers and hands. I then painted it with acrylic paint to finish off the details.
